Our Vision

Islamic Society of Annapolis will be a model community for humanity by implementing what Allah commanded in The Noble Qur’an:
“Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had faith it were best for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors”. (Sura Al-Imran 2:110)

Fiqh Reading and Fajr Breakfast

Community members are welcome to join Fiqh reading on every Sunday at Makkah Learning Center. Famous classical works in Islamic Law, and various Islamic books taught throughout the world, in places like Jordan, Syria, Pakistan, South Africa, England, and even the United States, are discussed during the reading. These texts are the type of work that our scholars have utilized for centuries to develop their knowledge, research abilities, and most importantly, their practice of Islam. Everyone is encouraged to participate in this meaningful endeavor on Sunday mornings after the Fajr prayer. The Imam will be teaching the course and breakfast will be served.
